	A Rivers Journey Richard Van Order The original measures 15 x 20 inches, and my medium was pastels on cotton muslin. A person asked just how my pastels look like paints. I am probably the only artist that uses bed sheets as a canvas. The pastels actually become a dye in the clothe as they are sprayed with a fixitive which I then add more layers of pastels on top of.
