"the Angel's Kiss"
Julianne Richards
This took the longest of all the recent paintings I have just uploaded...It actually was another painting I had done, and just disliked-it is even on my blog, and not long before these; It had rustic tones and lots of orange, and it's name was....have you guessed it yet? So, I painted two coats of Gesso and re-worked it...However, color and tone wise, I am enjoying working with greens and blues, and then copper and gold iridescent mixed in. Also , I have been experimenting with the glazing medium, which mixes which everything, if you use a clear, or "pearl" color.
This piece is on gallery wrapped, back-stapled, 30"x30" with 7/8" depth and double wood reinforcements on the back of the canvas frame.
It is finished with a UV protective gloss varnish. The COA (cerificate of authenticity) is from EBSQ. All purchases of my artwork come with this document.
