Oil on unstretched Canvas
A friend of mine brought me to his friends` house - deeper in the mountains, one Friday night. We didn`t get back to my city until after 2 the next day, and I wasn`t able to get outside until after 4 – which only gave me 1 hour to paint this. It wasn`t a place I was intending to paint a picture of, but someplace closer, on the way to where I was going. There were a some flowers blooming here at the time I passed through( you can see the Goldenrod here), so it seemed the very best time to give this place a try.
I went home when it got too dark to see color, and spent another hour and a half or so brightening up the spots that were too dark.
There is a fair amount of texture and gloss evident in the paint ?I buy the most light resistent/ fade resistant paints, so this should keep it's quality. You can fit it in a frame of your choosing, ...or just prop it up wherever you can.
This will ship flat in a large padded weather-proof envelope .
