The focus fabric in these 2 pillows (the green/red Oriental fabric) is a reproduction of a fabric from the William Morris Collection (1834-1896). The red/gold fabric adds a bit of vibrant color to enhance the overall pillow and give it a little pizzazz. Hours of fine, hand quilting was done by the artist to bring out the pieced pattern. The quilting stitches are heirloom-quality and greatly enhance the pieced design. This is finely detailed hand quilting that is only achieved after years of practice. The stitching adds texture to the piece and gives the pillow a touch of elegance. Each pillow has a high quality, hypo-allergenic polyester pillow form that is very soft yet holds its shape and is a dream to rest your head on. The back of the pillow is covered in a black fabric with a subtle white art-deco pattern (detail photo available upon request). All fabrics in the pillows are 100% cotton. The batting used for the hand quilting is 100% polyester. These pillows are machine washable and dryable which makes them perfect for everyday use on your favorite sofa or chair. Complete care instructions are included. Crafted in a smoke-free and animal-free environment. The fabric used in these pillows is no longer produced so these are limited edition pillows that other collectors will not have in their collections.
