	Sterling Lampwork Crystal Earrings Renee Snell Handmade Dark Blue and Light Aquamarine Blue Lampwork Glass Bead Hearts with 4mm Aquamarine Swarovski Crystals on Sterling Silver Leaf "branches" on Sterling Silver French Ear Wires. 2 3/8" long. Beads are approx. 17mm x 15mm. (The photo is showing the light blue greener than it really is. Both colors of glass are transparent. The middle of the glass is dark blue, surrounded by the transparent Aquamarine Blue.) Renée crafts each lampwork bead from Italian Moretti Glass. The beads are made by melting the glass around a steel rod. Each color in a bead is a different color of glass that is melted onto the next color. The beads are then cooled in a kiln, this cooling process, called annealin, makes the beads strong enough to be used in jewelry for everyday wear.
