This necklace is 16". Renée crafts each lampwork glass bead from Italian moretti or stained glass. The beads are made by melting the glass around a steel rod, then slowly cooling the beads in a kiln. This cooling process makes the beads strong enough to be used in jewelry for everyday wear. Each bead is one-of-a-kind which make each jewelry item a wearable piece of art.
