Handmade Lampwork Bead made with Black and Red Glass Encased in Clear Glass. Reneé's husband, Tom, uses Renée's Handmade beads and wraps them in Sterling Silver for a stunning look. (Thanks Patricia for being our lovely model!)
Renée crafts each lampwork bead from Italian moretti or stained glass. The beads are made by melting the glass around a steel rod, then slowly cooling the beads in a kiln. This cooling process makes the beads strong enough to be used in jewelry for everyday wear. Each bead is one-of-a-kind which makes each jewelry item a wearable piece of art.
These glass beads are strong because they have been annealed but they are glass, so care for them like you would any of your precious jewelry pieces.
