 Steve Cahill was born and raised in Salem, Massachusetts where his sketches and drawings eventually turned to painting. He is an artist whose colorful folk paintings evoke specific expressions and feelings. They are known for their color combinations and character expressions.
Primarily a mix of folk art and abstract expressionism, Steven's work flows from a mix of artistic traditions defying classifications. He paints at a brisk pace and uses bright colors to capture the spirit of a moment or feeling.
Steven has created more than 500 cataloged and numbered paintings and creations, His colorful paintings appear in galleries, restaurants and private collections throughout Florida, New York, Alabama and California.
Steve has participated in several nationally recognized Art Festivals. Including the House of Blues Folk Art Festival and Celebrations Fall and Spring Art show. In addition his work can be found at the House of Blues Retail store in Orlando. He is also the Founder of the Artisans of Celebration Organization that was created over 6 years ago.
