The Ran Collection
Dear spectators,
I am pleased with the chance to introduce my art to the on-line audience.
For years I've been doing illustrations in pen and Indian ink manner, which claims a great deal of skills, time and patience. Later, I started painting on fabric, and absolutely fell in love with colors. It's real pleasure mixing pigments and, literally, doing whatever you wish to do with radiant colors. Lastly, I tried myself in painting on canvas with oil, and enjoy this process a lot.
My pictures are extremely personal because they come into the existence as a sum of dreams, emotions, thoughts, and peculiarities. That is why my art is not only a real touch of the object, but different perceptions and sensations, a kind of "echo" of everyday activities. In other words, there is a mixture of real and unreal, and this is what, to my understanding, makes art unpredictable and ever lasting.
