Gorgeous “Experience of Wine”, the second part of the diptych created for 2004 artist’s solo exhibition, is impossible to forget when seeing once. In a huge canvas of 41x50 inches, numerous characters generate an idea of negative effect of ...drinking a little too much (Pay attention to the angel who tries to take the glass away from the male.)
Elena successfully achieved the effect of slow motion of every “minor” object of the picture; the same time male figure remains unmotion and powerless –we can see that in a position of his hands, neck, and head.
According to the artist's statement, this original acrylic painting is not going to be fully repeated in the future. No copies or prints have been done from the picture.
