Boats in Venice
The Ran Collection
As other paintings of Old Europe series, "Boats in Venice" was created in plain-air technique; the artist spent early hours, when the streets of Venice are still empty, enjoying the view and drawing skethes with ink. Later it appeared to be a beautiful painting, with the mostly yellow and blue (traditional for Venice) colors used.
The edges of the canvas are painted, which makes no need in frame.
According to the artist's statement, this original acrylic painting is not going to be fully repeated in the future. No copies or prints have been done from the picture.
Art location: Dallas, TX.
