SS. Michael & Gabriel, Archangels
The Ran Collection

As namesakes ot patrons, historical figures or spiritual models, Saints has played an important role in the lives of millions of people.
They have also provided the basis for some of the greatest Western and eastern Christian art.
St. Michael and St. Gabriel are two of the three angels mentioned by name in Scripture, and two of the seven that stand before God's throne.
St. Michael is considered the guardian angel of Israel, and the guardian and protector of the Church. Also the protector of Germany; Grocers; Bankers; Bakers; Sailers; Emergency room workers; Paratroopers; Radiologists; the Sick; Soldiers, and many more.
St. Raphael is a patron Saint of Travellers; Young people; Blindness; Healing and Healers, Doctors;
Druggists; Happy meetings; Love; Lovers; Nurses; pharmacists, physicians, Seattle, Washington, Reporters; TV workers, and many more.

The Book of Daniel (the 10th and 12th chapters) speak of St. Michael as "one of the chief princes", the special protector of Israel, and the "great prince who standeth for the children of thy people." In a Jewish origin known as Testament of Abraham, Michael is presented as God's commander-in-chief and the organizer of all the divine relations with earth. He is also associated with the other great archangels, Gabriel, Raphael, and Phanuel.
St. Gabriel is and Angel who brought Mary,the future Mother of God, the announcement about her immaculate conception.
Both of these Angels are highly respected by both Eastern and Western Christian church.
It is a replica of the unknown master of 12th century, the icon is located in St. Catherine monastery in Egypt, Mount Sinai. The work of Katrin Schwarz is sanctified in Jerusalem, Israel, at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (the Church of Resurrection). Church of the Holy Sepulchre is one of the holiest places in the world for Christians, who come here for 2000 years to visit the place where Jesus of Nazareth died, was buried, and rose back. The certificate can be found at the back of the wooden board.
