Timothy W. Young is a contemporary American artist born in Columbus, Ohio, in 1951. His work has been exhibited and featured in various galleries, colleges, and cultural centers through out the United States including the Schumacher Gallery, Columbus, Ohio, Graham Center Museum, Wheaton, Illinois, and The Paul Mellon Arts Center, Wallingford, Connecticut, and at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky. In addition his works are in private collections throughout the United States.
Young received a M.F.A. from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and a B.F.A. from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio. He also studied at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, Spain. Presently Young is an Associate Professor of Art at Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana (Artist in Residence, Badlands National Park, 2006.) He and his wife Anne and children reside in nearby Warsaw, Indiana.
Architects, Interior Designers, and Corporations are encouraged to inquire about site-specific
projects. Young develops various ideas with clients incorporating architectural, environmental, and/or thematic concerns into site-specific paintings or drawings for commercial, residential, and institutional buildings.
