Check out: http://whamolalab.com The Whamola is a single stringed electric upright bass with a pitch lever. It was made famous by the great bass player Les Claypool. This is the 42" scale, Deluxe upright string model (5'3" to 6'1" overall length with adjustable end pin). The Deluxe features a hand carved scroll on the lever. Whamolas are hand crafted one at a time per order. My Whamolas are built to last forever and come with a beautiful hard lacquer finish. Each has the signature bass sound with unmatched growl and sustain. Only high end parts are used. Passive pickup, friction-less bridge, Gotoh tuning machine, Thomastik string and volume control.
